In developing aspects of curriculum and assessment, the NCCA is working with schools and teachers in
early childhood and primary school settings. The focus of this work is on the development of support
materials on Assessment, Language and Planning.
AssessmentDeveloping materials that will support teachers in using a range
of assessment methods, making judgements about children's progress
in learning and giving feedback to children about their learning. |  |
LanguageDeveloping support materials for language teaching and learning,
with a focus on supporting progression in Irish, and promoting
language use throughout the school. |  |
PlanningDeveloping resources to help teachers deal with the range
of individual learning needs represented by
children in their classes. |  |
