Senior Cycle Review Advisory Report published

The Senior Cycle Review: Advisory Report has been published. The Report captures and responds to the views of stakeholders gathered during the four-year review about how senior cycle could evolve to meet the needs of our young people. It provides solid foundations for the phased redevelopment of senior cycle in the coming years.

The Report can be accessed at www.ncca.ie/redevelopingsc with a bulletin which provides an overview of the report. We encourage everyone to read it in full and to consider the possibilities it holds for all our young people as they experience this crucial phase of their education.

The newly-appointed NCCA Council will meet in the coming weeks to discuss the next steps for the redevelopment of senior cycle as it begins to develop a plan of work based on the Advisory Report and the Minister’s response to it. NCCA will continue to work closely with schools and stakeholders throughout this process, with the objective of making the renewed vision for senior cycle, presented in the Advisory Report, a reality.
