Senior Cycle Review 2016-2021

This video captures the review of senior cycle which began in late 2016 and featured three phases of work.

Phase One focused on international research looking at senior cycle in other jurisdictions. Phase two took place in schools and captured the views of teachers, students and parents. A series of seminars took place around the country bringing teachers, school leaders, students, parents and stakeholders together to further explore the emerging ideas and areas for consideration. Phase three focused on a public consultation with national focus groups, written submissions and an online survey. A series of bilateral meetings with education stakeholders also took place.
