Junior Cycle

Junior Cycle Physical Education Draft Specification
A draft specification for Junior Cycle Physical Education has been developed. It is designed for a minimum of 135 hours of teaching and learning over three years. It is intended that this specification will replace previous Physical Education curriculum provisions in junior cycle. A public consultation on this draft specification will open early in the new school year and NCCA is looking forward to hearing the views of teachers, students, parents and wider stakeholders. Keep an eye on the consultations webpage for further details about how to get involved in the consultation.
