Updating Aistear

The NCCA is updating Aistear. Phase 1 of the consultation is now closed. In the coming months, NCCA will be analysing the feedback and using it to inform the proposals for an updated Aistear. This will be followed by an opportunity to gather feedback on those proposals during Phase 2 of the consultation.

The research base for Aistear’s four themes is also being updated through a series of academic papers. 

In Phase 2, during 2022/2023, proposals based on findings from Phase 1 and from the research papers will be shared. Here again, there will be an opportunity for you to give feedback.
