Senior Cycle Developments

As part of the redevelopment of senior cycle, development groups have been convened and are working in the following areas:

• Senior Cycle Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE)
• Transition Year
• Leaving Certificate Business
• Leaving Certificate Climate Action and Sustainable Development
• Leaving Certificate Drama, Film and Theatre Studies
• Senior cycle modules for students following Junior Cycle Level One and Level Two Learning Programmes.

Following a period of consultation with teachers, students and other stakeholders on Background Papers, consultation reports have been published for the following Leaving Certificate subjects:

• Business
• Climate Action and Sustainable Development 
• Drama, Film and Theatre Studies.

In addition, the consultation on the Background Paper and Brief for the development of Senior Cycle Modules for Students following Level One and Level Two Learning Programmes will open on March 6^th.
